Rep. Drew Stokesbary offers support for Senate Bill 5350 (PERS/TRS 1 benefit increase) in House floor speech
Rep. Drew Stokesbary, ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee, offers a floor speech in support of Senate Bill 5350. The legislation would provide a one-time, 3% increase to the retirement benefits of retirees in the Public Employees’ Retirement System and the Teachers’ Retirement System Plan 1, up to $110 per month. The measure passed on 97-0 vote on April 12, 2023.
