Reps. Drew Stokesbary and Morgan Irwin to host 31st District telephone town hall on March 27

Rep. Drew Stokesbary, R-Auburn, and Rep. Morgan Irwin, R-Enumclaw, are inviting residents of the 31st District to join them Monday, March 27 for a telephone town hall meeting. The community conversation, which is similar to a call-in radio show, will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last one hour. This will be an opportunity to ask questions directly to the lawmakers, while they provide an update of the 2017 legislative session.

Most residents will receive invitations to participate by phone just before the meeting begins. Those wishing to call in simply need to dial (253) 258-3247 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Once connected, they can listen in and press * (star) on their telephone keypad to ask questions.

“The setup of the call offers us an opportunity to connect in ways a traditional town hall might not,” said Stokesbary. “We’ll discuss pieces of legislation we’ve been working on, conduct live polls, and take questions directly from listeners on the phone.”

“This is a great opportunity for our 31st District residents to directly connect with us,” said Irwin. “I look forward to an engaging conversation and encourage everyone to participate.”

Rep. Stokesbary serves on the Appropriations, Education and Finance committees. Rep. Irwin serves on the State Government, Elections & Information Technology, and Transportation committees.

Questions prior to the telephone town hall meeting can be sent to Rep. Stokesbary’s at (360)786-7846 or and Rep. Irwin at (360) 786-7866 or
