The 2017 legislative session is underway in Olympia! This year, we'll be meeting for 105 days to pass an operating budget, debate bills, and tackle our most paramount duty — funding education.

This session, I was named a deputy budget writer for the House Republicans, and just last week I was selected by my House Republican Caucus colleagues to serve as Assistant Minority Floor Leader. I hope to use these leadership roles to advance the important issues facing the communities of the 31^st legislative district.
