House Republican Leader Drew Stokesbary discusses potential economic fallout from income tax on KVI
House Republican Leader Drew Stokesbary, R-Auburn, joined Ari Hoffman on KVI Radio to discuss the 25-hour floor fight against the Democrats’ income tax proposal and why Republicans believe the policy will drive jobs, investment and employers out of Washington.
Stokesbary also warned about other tax ideas still being discussed in Olympia, including proposals targeting employers, and said Republicans forced the debate into daylight so Washington residents could see what he called a battle over the state’s economic future.
