January 16, 2025

In a conversation between House Republican Leader Drew Stokesbary and KVI’s Ari Hoffman, Stokesbary criticizes former Governor Jay Inslee’s administration for a growing catalog of crises facing Washington state. He contrasts Inslee’s “puppies and rainbows” narrative with incoming Governor Bob Ferguson’s acknowledgment of critical issues that need to be addressed. He also outlines Republican priorities while emphasizing the need for bipartisan cooperation to pass legislation aimed at making the state safer, more affordable, and family-friendly.
